Our 4th or 5th visit to this absolutely wonderful place to eat. Staff are always extremely friendly and helpful and the food is amazing. We have never been disappointed with anything we have eaten at The Saint Bar & Kitchen and have tried many of the different dishes. A massive thank you to all the staff who served us (along with the chef and kitchen staff too) on 22nd April when we were celebrating my husbands birthday. We don't live in the area but have made a ritual to celebrate this fabulous place in St Andrews. Whoever own this place, your staff are an absolute credit to you.

We went to The Saint 2 times on our vacation since we enjoyed it so much! The food was great but more importantly the staff, in particular Megan and Daryl, were so friendly!! They gave The Saint a wonderful atmosphere! I highly reccomend for breakfast and lunch! The next time we will look into staying here.

We finally had a chance to try a proper Sunday roast, and The Saint delivered! We tried both the chicken and the roast beef roasts, and both were very good. They came with a delicious mushroom soup, and dinner was followed by a scrumptious sticky toffee pudding.

Came here for a Sunday lunch and was quite impressed. Three of us had the roast beef from the Sunday roast menu whilst I had the steak pie. The food was all excellent. There was however a significant delay in the deserts coming out, with my cheesecake long gone by the time the sticky toffee puddings came out. They did make up for this by giving us a slight discount. All in all a very enjoyable Sunday afternoon. Would go back

Stayed here for 1 night, and ate at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast. On the positive side, the food is great and the room was clean and reasonably comfortable. On the bad side, there is not a lot of help if you run into issues with your room - it’s not really a hotel, they just have 4 rooms available above the pub/restaurant. Our toilet wasn’t flushing very well when we arrived at 8:30pm, and the staff basically said nothing could be done until the next morning. Even the next morning, the staff didn’t really check the issue. Then I heard two of the other couples behind us at breakfast talking about the same issue with their toilets. Small things you’d expect to be corrected for over GBP300 per night - bathroom floor heating was running even though it was 85 degrees outside, the bathroom was always sweltering; really poor bathroom ventilation (fan didn’t seem to do much, bathroom window painted shut); two bottles of shampoo in the bath, but no bath gel at all. In summary, having the rooms is a side job for the staff - for this price point I think you’re better off staying in a proper hotel
